About Jarrow Formulas – Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate
Jarrow Formulas Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate delivers three essential B vitamins in their most bioavailable forms, combined in a convenient chewable tablet. Vitamin B12 is provided as methylcobalamin — the naturally occurring, coenzyme form — while folate is supplied as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate ((6S)-5-MTHF), the biologically active form ready for use by the body. Vitamin B6 is included as pyridoxal-5-phosphate (P5P), its active coenzyme form.
Vitamin B12 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal psychological function, to the normal functioning of the nervous system, and to normal red blood cell formation. Folate contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal psychological function. Vitamin B6 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal psychological function, to the normal functioning of the nervous system, and to the regulation of hormonal activity.
Each tablet provides 5000 mcg of methylcobalamin, 1360 mcg DFE of folate (800 mcg as (6S)-5-MTHF), and 2.5 mg of pyridoxal-5-phosphate.
